Of course! That's the preferred option for most people. It works best if you have a quiet space with enough room for all the camera gear, if you are choosing the video option. 

This can vary. It depends on which of the Options you choose (see the Options page). Generally it takes a couple of hours. You must also allow for a bit of time for choosing the best space to record and setting up the equipment. 

You will receive a digital copy of your recorded story on a USB and a back up via password protected cloud storage. 

You can copy the file as many times as you like. It is yours to do with as you please once you receive the final product.

No problem as long as it's pre-recording day, you can change Options at any time. 

However, after it's recorded, you cannot change Options as the work has already been completed and the post-production phase in process. This part of the product is the most work intensive and time consuming.

Yes! There is an audio version available.

No one does! Not even me and I record a Podcast. What you need to remember is that this product is a legacy gift. Your family and friends love you and if you weren't around anymore, they would take great comfort hearing your voice again at some future time.  For example, I still hear my father's voice on my elderly mother's answering service. He's been gone three years, but I love hearing him again every time my mother doesn't answer the phone. 

Files are password protected (or only on USB if you prefer). All images, samples and photos posted by SoFro Media are explicitly with the consent of the person recorded. This is always optional.

No problem. I have decades of experience working with people of all types. It is my duty to make sure you feel comfortable, so I will always put you at ease before beginning.  Should you experience any discomfort or distress while telling your story, I will also always pause recording until you are ready to continue.

The eGift card function is run by a third party commerce site called Square. They are an internationally trusted company with excellent privacy control. However, if you wish, you may contact me about alternative payment methods.

Yes, you can. There is a 'Custom' option on the site. If you click that, you can nominate whatever amount you want between $100 and $2000 AUD.

There is no end date to it's use. Once you give an eGift Card to someone, it is valid indefinitely. That way, if the recipient isn't comfortable or 'ready' to record, they have the peace of mind knowing that the option to record their life story can be activated at any time.

Depending on the distance, if you book well enough in advance, a suitable date and time can be arranged.

No. There are many writing services already out there. SoFro Media focusses specifically on helping people record their life story by video or audio.
